Panamanian prospect Israel Duffus, 22-years-old, will be joining the stable of Top Rank. The fighter himself confirmed the news and said next week he will be signing the contract.

He said the first fight with Top Rank could be in October in Los Angeles, but there is also possibility of taking a fight in the month of August. Duffus (6-1, 5 KOs) currently trains with Hall of Fame coach Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, California.

'Next week we will sign the contract with Top Rank, and it will be 10 fights. This is a very big and important step because personally I'm starting to see the fruits of my work and that's just the beginning of what lies ahead, which are the world titles," Duffus said.
