Without hesitation, Isaac 'Pitbull' Cruz would fight Vasiliy Lomachenko. This was assured by Isaac Cruz Sr., father and coach of Pitbull Cruz, who said in an interview that he viewed the Ukrainian veteran as being out of rhythm in his most recent ring appearance.

Cruz Sr. believes his son would beat Lomachenko in the same manner as Orlando Salido, who handed Lomachenko his first career defeat.

"It would be an identical copy of the fight that Siri Salido did to Lomachenko," Cruz Sr. said to Izquierdazo. "If Siri Salido beat him, at that age, and by utilizing his experience, then I really have no doubt that we would beat Lomachenko."

Lomachenko returned to the ring against Jamaine Ortiz last Saturday night in New York City. The fight was much closer than anyone could have anticipated.

Many observers now believe that the three division world champion is on the decline and showing his age.

“I have no doubt at all [that my son would beat Lomachenko], and what I could confirm is that a decision would not be reached," Cruz Sr. insisted.

"We would work [to press him in the same manner as Salido]. [Cruz] would not give him a break, that hurts Lomachenko.

“[Lomachenko] boxes very nicely, but he is not used to being overwhelmed so much. Pitbull keeps coming over and over."

After blasting out Eduardo Ramirez on September 4, Pitbull is taking a well-deserved break that will last until March or April of next year.

While Pitbull enjoys his family, the executive for MP Promotions, which is led by Sean Gibbons, will analyze the different paths and determine the best opponent for Cruz's career.
