BoxingScene's Ike Enwereuzor sits down with Fres Oquendo as Fres speaks about John Ruiz, Vitali Klitschko, Chris Byrd, Andrew Golota, Lamon Brewster and more...

Ike:  What are you doing these days?

Oquendo:  I'm here to negotiate a fight with Mr. Don King for January 2005. I could be fighting Lamon Brewster or Goofi (A.K.A) Lance Whitaker.

Ike: You fought John Ruiz this year, now he's fighting Andrew Golota. How would you describe your fight with Ruiz?

Oquendo: My mind wasn't right for that fight but I was in good shape. I had management problems which I have taken care of now so, I'm a free man now.

Ike: Your Prediction for Byrd-McCline bout?

Oquendo: Interesting fight but I see Byrd frustrating McCline and win a decision.

Ike: Tell us about your fight with Chris Byrd?

Oquendo: It was the most controversial fight of the century. It cost me the title

Ike: Your prediction for the Rahman-Meehan bout?

Oquendo: I think if Meehan uses his jab and distance, he should be able to outbox Rahman. Meehan needs to stay outside. Hasim Rahman doesn't impress me at all.

Ike: How about the McCall-Williamson bout?

Oquendo: I think DaVaryll  Williamson has a chance, he's young and hungry but McCall is a very dangerous fighter. He can brawl too.

Ike: John Ruiz vs. Andrew Golota?

Oquendo: It will be another interesting fight, Golota will have some problem with Ruiz. I predict Ruiz stops him in round 8.

Ike: Your pick on Wright-Mosley fight?

Oquendo: I think Wright beats him again. He'll do a repeat.

Ike: What's your impression of WBO champion Lamon Brewster?

Oquendo: He has a lot of heart and determined. He has a heart of a Lion with hard chin. I know I can dominate him in a fight.

Ike: Your impression of WBC champion Vitali Klitschko?

Oquendo: He uses his height well but he's just a decent champion. I don't think he'll keep that belt long.
