While Andre Rozier prepares Daniel Jacobs for his March 18th showdown against unified middleweight champion, Gennady Golovkin, he still has other fighters in his stable to tend do.

One of those fighters is the undefeated Ievgen Khytrov (14-0, 12 KO's), who will be tested early on in 2017.

"Khytrov will be boxing January 14th at the Barclay Center against (Immanuwel Aleem) and we're looking forward to that bout, he hasn't boxed in awhile," Rozier told BoxingScene.com. "He had a fantastic performance in his last bout and we're looking to carry that into this fight."

Back on July 21st, the 28-year old old native of Ukraine halted Paul Mendez in nine rounds.

"Listen," said Rozier, "he doesn't like to have decisions in his fights and I'm not expecting one here."

Khytrov was a member of the loaded Ukrainanian amateur boixng team which featured the likes of Vasyl Lomachenko and Oleksandr Usy. Khyrtov won the gold medal in the middleweight division at the 2011 World Amateur Boxing Championships in Baku. Khytrov is also 2011 Ukrainian Nationals champion, and former Boxing European Cup and European Juniors Boxing Championships winner.
