Light flyweight Ibeth Zamora was 18 years old when she made her pro debut.

Based on the success she has had in the ring over the last couple of years, Zamora herself may be impressed at her accomplishments.

Having faced top opposition early on in her career, including the likes of Esmeralda Moreno and Yesica Bopp, Zamora sits at or near the top of the 108-pound division.

Zamora will face unbeaten Nina Stojanovic tonight in a 10 round bout at the Gimnasio Municipal in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico.

In her last bout on July 16, Zamora stopped Keisher McLeod Wells in the seventh round in Metepec, Mexico, Mexico. With the win, Zamora successfully defended her WBC junior flyweight title.

Zamora (26-5, 11 KOs), who will be defending her WBC title for the eighth time tonight, has won her last 11 bouts. Zamora has defeated the likes of Moreno, Jessica Chavez, and Ava Knight.

The 27-year-old Zamora will be a significant step-up in opposition for Stojanovic, who resides in Rakovica, Serbia and has fought throughout Europe.

Stojanovic (9-0, 3 KOs) has not fought since December 18. Her only fight of significance was in May of last year, her only 10 round fight as a pro, when she defeated Eva Voraberger by split decision.

She has only two fighters in her pro career with winning records.

Also fighting on the Promociones del Pueblo card will be welterweight Jose Lopez (26-6-2, 15 KOs), who has lost his last two bouts. He will Shoki Sakai (21-6-1, 13 KOs) in a 10 round bout.
