The latest edition of Boxeo Estrella TV sees a reunion among main event participants and the show’s leading promoters.

Hytan Ramos and Ernesto Salcedo both made weight ahead of their scheduled ten-round rematch, which comes with a regional junior featherweight title at stake. Ramos weighed 121 pounds, while Salcedo was 121.6 pounds for Friday’s aptly titled ‘Repeat or Revenge’ main event on Estrella TV from Foro Zina in Zinacantepec, Mexico.

The show will also air live on ESPN Knockout in Latin America.

The bout comes more than a year after the two collided last July 30 in Mexico City, with Ramos (11-5-2, 3KOs) scoring a fourth-round stoppage in an upset win over then-beaten Salcedo in a fight that saw both fighters hit the canvas with Ramos the last one standing.

Both have since suffered defeat. Ramos dropped an eight-round decision to Ronal Batista last October on the road in Panama, while Salcedo (13-2, 10KOs) was outpointed by Arturo Hernandez last November in Coyoacan, Mexico.

The must-win scenario for both fighters also brings back longtime promotional partners Felix Zabala Jr. of All Star Boxing, Inc. and Producciones Deportiva’s Ricardo Maldonado.  The two have frequently collaborated on shows in Mexico, including a years-long joint effort on the Boxeo Telemundo circuit.

Maldonado began regularly presenting shows on Estrella TV last spring, this time bringing in an old friend.

“"We are happy to be back in the Mexican capital which has a rich tradition in boxing,” noted Zabala. "Our headliner is an excellent match, The first fight had knockdowns by both guys with Ramos getting the better end.

This time, Ramos looks to repeat, while Salcedo seeks revenge.”

Below are the weights for the rest of the undercard, with select bouts airing on Estrella TV.
