Temoaya, Edo. México. - After two weeks of hard concentration in the mountains of Mexico, the lightweight champion of the World Boxing Council (WBC), Humberto Soto, is in great physical shape and condition and the work is going as planned for his upcoming fight.

"El Zorrita" is focused on the third defense of his title, scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 4 in Anaheim, California, against tough Urbano Antillon (28-1-0, 20 KOs). During the first week, the workload was more about aerobic conditioning, but already during the second week he started on the strong training in the gym with various equipment and many rounds of sparring.

To assist in these sessions, acting as sparring partners, from Baja California, super lightweight Antonio "Cañitas" Lozada Jr. and Misael Castillo, who works with power, and super featherweight Joksan "Torito" Hernandez, who has a fighting style similar to Antillón while lightweight Mario Perez is there to help Soto work on the aspect of speed.

"Everything is going very well. 'Zorrita' is very strong and will reach 100% by December 4. He is highly motivated and the work in Temoaya has gone as planned. The workloads have been increased and he responded perfectly," said his agent Antonio "Cañas" Lozada, who accompanies him during training.

The duel between Soto and Antillón is part of a stellar three-fight undercard at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, which includes Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. Alfonso Gomez in the main event and Nonito Donaire taking on Wladimir Sidorenko.
