Armenian superstar Hovhannes Bachkov faces a tough test in his professional debut as he prepares to take on hard-hitting Samuel Gonzalez at Rotunda Rumble 4 on Hublot Time next Friday.

The D4G Promotions event in association with Round 10 Boxing and MTK Global will take place at the iconic Rotunda at Caesars Bluewaters Dubai on October 9, and be broadcast in the US on ESPN+ in association with Top Rank, and worldwide on IFL TV.

Bachkov had a prestigious amateur career, having won gold medals at the European Games in 2019 and the European Championships in 2017, and bronze medals at the World Championships in 2019 and 2017. He also represented his country at the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

The 27-year-old will now enter the paid ranks against Gonzalez (22-6, 13 KOs), who has won 22 of his 28 fights, with 13 of those wins coming inside the distance.
