Matchroom Sports head Eddie Hearn is agitated from the amount of trash talking being done in recent days by British middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr. and his father/manager Chris Eubank Sr.

Eubank Jr. (23-1, 18KOs) created a firestorm after making statements on the social networks, which were directed at IBF welterweight champion Kell 'Special K' Brook (36-1, 25KOs) and IBF/IBO/WBA/WBC middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (36-0, 33KOs).

This past Saturday night at the O2 Arena in London, Golovkin picked up a fifth round stoppage over Brook, who moved up by thirteen pounds to face Golovkin at the full middleweight limit of 160-pounds.

Brook did very well in the fight, but suffered a fractured eye socket in the second round and the injury grew worse as the fight continued. His trainer Dominic Ingle unexpectedly threw in the towel in the fifth after his fighter began to experience issues with his vision.

After the fight was over, Eubank Jr threw shade at Brook and Golovkin on the social networks.

"Golovkin, if you want a fight with a real British middleweight... come get some. My corner don't own towels," Eubank stated.

Brook was NOT the intended opponent for Golovkin. The original opponent for that date was Eubank Jr. Hearn bent over backwards trying to finalize the deal with the Eubanks. In the end, the Eubanks allowed a contract deadline to pass - which forced Hearn to replace him with another Matchroom fighter, Brook.

"For those who didn’t have the cojones to step up, the Eubanks' still had plenty to say. Listening to them, I’m just shaking my head. I have been really disappointed and at times disgusted by the lack of respect from the Eubanks following Kell’s defeat," Hearn told Daily Mail.

"You have Junior making some point in a tweet that he didn’t own a towel and you have Senior saying that damage is good. Those are very misguided and alarming things to say. Eubank Senior only has to revisit his own career experiences to know better.

"With Senior, I cannot work him out at all and I can’t help feeling he is just leading his son down the wrong path. They talk a lot and make it sound like they are playing all the right moves in one big game of chess.

"As I see it, they have led themselves away from a fight worth millions with Golovkin and Junior will now fight on October 22 for a fraction of that sum on an undercard in Cardiff. Fight fans are not stupid, regardless what Eubank Senior would have them believe. The truth is Senior is well out of his league and you have to fear for Junior’s career right now."
