Eddie Hearn, promoter for IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, is furious with the events of the last few days.

Joshua was scheduled to face Jarrell Miller on June 1 at New York's Madison Square Garden.

But Miller fell out of the fight at the start of the week, when it was revealed that Miller had tested positive for the banned substance GW1516.

Initially, Miller came out and denied that he ever took a performance enhancing drug to prepare for Joshua.

But days later it was revealed that Miller had failed two more drug tests administered by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA).

Miller came up positive for two powerful banned performance enhancers - HGH (human growth hormone) and EPO, and GW1516 was also in his system.

Following that news, Miller came clean on social media - filming a video where he said he "messed up."

The New York State Athletic Commission denied Miller's application for a boxing license, and now Hearn is searching far and wide for a new opponent.

Hearn can't believe Miller would do this and then try to deny it when the information regarding the initial test first came out.

"This is one of the reasons I’m so enraged. I wanted to believe him. I’ve spent time with Jarrell Miller, I like the guy. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt," Hearn told IFL TV.

"And when he text me the other day 'I swear I’ve never taken anything, this is bullsh*t', I was going to reply. But I thought: 'You know what, I’m not going to say anything because I actually want to believe you.'

"This comes out, and I thought: 'Fool me once, never fool me twice.' Because that is how I feel. He was saying it was sabotage, 'I swear on kids’ lives' - f*** off. People lie every day. But to do that in a fight - this is a fight! It’s dangerous enough as it is."
