Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Hollywood - On Saturday night, former two division world champion David Haye (28-4, 26 KOs) returned to the ring for the first time since 2018 - and it was more of a sparring match as he easily boxed past Joe Fournier (9-0, 9 KOs) for an eight round unanimous decision.

The scores were 79-72, 80-71 and 79-72.

Haye was obviously protecting his good friend from being knocked out and carried him, round after round, until the final bell.

Fournier and Haye embraced in the aftermath and walked around the ring together while smiling ear to ear.

But Haye's statements in the aftermath were shocking - as he called out WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

Haye and Fury were scheduled to fight each other in 2013. The fight dates were canceled due to Haye's injuries.

The British boxer retired in 2018 when he suffered a second knockout loss at the hands of Tony Bellew.

Haye's decision to retire was highly influenced by his nagging injuries, to his shoulder, Achilles and bicep.

But, he would be willing to fight again - if Fury was the actual opponent in the other corner.

"There's one fighter I would come back to professional boxing for and that's Tyson Fury. That big fat dosser; I know I'm his kryptonite, I know what he can't handle. He's a dosser and I know I'm his kryptonite and I know he knows it; he knows it, his dad knows it and his uncle knows it," Haye said.

"My overhand right... which I didn't even show in there tonight, I didn't want to scare him. If I'd have let my right hand go, he wouldn't be taking the fight. He thinks it would be an easy fight but's wrong. I know he's ducking Anthony Joshua but he doesn't want that work. We were supposed to fight in 2013 but I was injured but I'm healthy and I'm ready to go."

Fury is scheduled to defend his title against Deontay Wilder on October 9th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
