Vejle, Denmark - Local hero and super middleweight Haris Dzindo (12-0) stopped Georgian Mikheil Khutsishvili (23-41-6) who retired and didn´t come out for the fourth of a scheduled eight-rounder and won the vacant GBU Continental and UBF European titles.

It was a one-sided fight with Khutishvili well over his best fighting weight - and he took the fight on very short notice. Fact is that not many knew he was in town as the official info was that Dzindo would fight a very late sub in David Makaradze.

There were many problems around this show and another was that Kobra Promotions´s Dalibor Ban, the promoter on record for the event, was stuck in Germany. So Dzindo was left with taking care of it all plus making weight and fighting and overall he did as well as could be expected with an off TV budget promotion.

Bantamweight Michael Nielsen (2-0) was in against a very late sub in Hungarian debutant Orsos Lazlo and it was a heated battle between two novice fighters. In the second Nielsen got the upper hand but was too eager and landed a low blow and Lazlo bent over indicating he was hurt. The referee broke up the action and to everyone´s surprise counted the visitor out instead of giving him time to recover and a perhaps a points deduction for the Dane - but as it was the official ruling was a TKO win for Michael Nielsen, who proceeded to give the audience an exhibition of his breakdance skills.

Super welter Almir Skrijelj (16-2) stopped German Matti Schraffran (5-4) 2.27 into the fourth of a scheduled eight-rounder and thus won the vacant UBF European title. Skrijelj dominated the action all the way and Schraffan tired badly along the way. Schaffran was against the ropes and about to cave in when the referee made a timely stoppage to what was a poor fight.

Skriejelj hails from Monte Negro but is like Kiwitt, living in Flensburg across the border to Germany.

Germany-based Ghanian welterweight Freddy Kiwitt (17-2) outboxed Georgian Nika Nakashidze (7-10-1) who retired and didn´t come out for the seventh round in a scheduled eight-rounder.

Nakashidze was a late sub and like all the visiting boxers didn´t arrive to Vejle until the morning of the show (due to an airline strike). Kiwitt, residing in nearby Flensburg, boxed neatly and worked well behind his jab but showed little power and didn´t seem to want to get too involved with mixing it up with his stocky, tough opponent.

Welter Puriya "Loco" Haidari (10-2) outscored Bosnian MIrko Jovic (2-14) over six.It was scored 58-55 twice and 57-56. Haidari was floored in the fourth and looked shaken for the reminder of the round. Jovic kept coming and kept punching while Haidari had the heavier punches. It was a close fight.
