Hairon Socarras (14-0-2, 10 KOs) continues working hard at his training camp for the upcoming fight at Sugarhouse Casino in Philadelphia. Socarras will be returning after 14 months of inactivity at the "Friday Night Boxing" event being staged by Hard Hitting Promotions.

The past week in Miami, Florida, Socarras was being tested to the limit by his trainer Jorge Rubio. He held several sparring sessions aimed at improving his speed, strength and over skill and aiming to attain the highest physical and technical level.

"This fight is very important for me and all of my team. I feel happy for this opportunity that I'm getting with Hard Hitting Promotions. I am very happy with everything that is happening in my life. I'm getting married and soon I will see my daughter. In the gym I work with determination to gradually return to the level I had before this short period of being away from boxing," said Socarras

He was initially scheduled to return last December in Miami. However, those plans were tossed away because the event in question was canceled a few days earlier.

"I couldn't fight in December but that didn’t bother me. The preparation I had and the work I did for that fight, we took advantage of that for this fight on February 03 in Philadelphia at the Sugarhouse Casino," added Socarras.
