Former world cruiserweight world champion Guillermo "El Felino" Jones (39-3-2, 31KOs) will return to the ring on November 14th at the Arena Panama Al Brown in Colon City, Panama. The fight was announced by promoter Sergio Gonzalez, who along with Richard Yohros manage the career of Jones.

Jones has been inactive since May of 2013, when he knocked out Denis Lebedev. After that fight he tested positive for a banned weigh-cutting agent. A year later, with only a few hours to go before their rematch, he tested positive once again for the same substance and the fight was canceled.

He was suspended by WBA and then appealed earlier this year to cut the suspension down to two years. The appeal was granted under the condition that he had to fight at heavyweight and get tested for banned substances on a regular basis.

"It will be a fight for ten rounds at heavyweight, complying with the requirements set by the WBA," said Gonzalez.

He will face Daniel Cota (17-5-1) of Mexico. Cot was the opponent for Deontay Wilder back when the current WBC champion fought in Mexico back in 2011. Wilder stopped him in three rounds.
