Multiple sources have advised BoxingScene.com that unbeaten heavyweight prospect Guido Vianello (7-0) will return to the ring against an opponent to be announced on July 21st.

The fight will take place in "The Bubble" at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas like all of the Top Rank Inc. fight cards that have taken place since the Covid-19 pandemic has occurred.

Former featherweight champion Oscar Valdez (27-0) will face Jayson Velez (29-6-1) in the main event of the evening in a Mexico versus Puerto Rico super featherweight bout.  This will be Valdez's second fight in the division after spending the rest of his career at 126 pounds where he held the WBO title. Velez dropped a split decision to Jaime Arboleda in his last bout in February.

After having his first fight of the year canceled because of the ongoing pandemic, Vianello picked up a first round knockout against Don Haynesworth on June 9th. It was his first fight of 2020 after going 5-0 last year with all of his wins coming by knockout.

The 2016 Italian Olympian is trained in theLas Vegas area by world class trainer Kevin Barry whose stable of fighters includes former heavyweight champion Joseph Parker, Umar Salamov, and several others.
