Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero (33-4-1, 18 KOs) is furious with the official scorecards from Saturday's fight, which saw him lose a twelve round unanimous decision to Danny Garcia (32-0, 18 KOs) at Staples Center in Carson, California. Garcia captured the WBC's vacant welterweight championship with the win.

All three judges had it 116-112. Garcia-Guerrero headlined Premier Boxing Champion's debut card on FOX.

Guerrero started strong and took the fight to Garcia, but it seemed The Ghost slowed down in the second half as Garcia was using movement and accurate power punching to pile up the points in the second half. Most observers at ringside had Garcia winning by a closer 115-113 margin.

Guerrero disagrees with the official verdict and demands an immediate rematch take place.

"I want a rematch and that's it. Not one person out there thought Danny won but his team. I pressured him, I nailed him, busted his body up. I out-jabbed him. I thought I won the fight. The crowd thought I won the fight. It was a great fight. I am happy, I'm healthy. I will be back. I thought I won the fight and I definitely want a rematch," Guerrero said.

Ruben Guerrero, father and trainer of Robert, was equally upset and also made a demand to get a rematch.

"I know we won it. He kept running and holding, running and holding. How are you going to win a fight when you run and hold every time? We wanted to win every round and I think we won every round. I want a rematch. That wasn't fair. I want a rematch as soon as possible," Ruben said.

If a rematch were to happen, it won't happen in the immediate future. Garcia is now obligated to make a mandatory defense against the WBC's top challenger, Amir Khan, who was sitting at ringside. Garcia stopped Khan in four rounds when the two fighters faced each other in a junior welterweight unification in 2012.
