Abel Sanchez, trainer of WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin, is laughing at the recent claims that his fighter was exposed in his recent TKO victory over Willie Monroe Jr.

Monroe had his moments in the fight, where he landed numerous flush punches to the head of Golovkin (33-0, 30KOs). In the end he couldn't deal with Golovkin's power and pressure, suffering several knockdowns before he was eventually stopped in the sixth.

After the fight, Sanchez and Golovkin claimed to have intentionally taken their foot off the gas in the last fight, in order to create openings so Monroe could take chances - and in turn generate a more exciting fight for the 12,000 fans at The Forum in Los Angeles.

"I hope they saw a lot of holes. I hope they saw a lot of holes that makes them brave enough to step in the ring with him. Sometimes you have to create illusions and you have to create opportunities, so other guys see an opportunity [by believing] that there's a chink in the armor," Sanchez told BoxingScene.com.

"But it seems that all they do is talk. And if there are chinks in the armor, then let's expose them. I've said it from the beginning that I'd like to see that too, because I'd like to see if we really have what I think we have."
