WBA Middleweight Champion Gennady Golovkin, 21-0 with 18 KOs, will defend his world title against Lajuan Simon, 23-3, 12 KOs from Philadelphia, PA. This fight will be the co-feature for the Klitschko vs Mormeck Heavyweight Championship that will take place at the ESPRIT arena in Dusseldorf, Germany on Dec 10.

Golovkin, who lives in Stuttgart, won the silver medal in the 2004 Olympic games and is considered one of the most exciting boxers in the sport today.  This will be his third world title defense and the first time Golovkin will box in Germany since 2009. German boxing fans have been eagerly awaiting his return and his fight will be shown as the co-feature of the International broadcast shown in over 100 countries worldwide.

Lajuan Simon is also familiar to German boxing fans, having fought in title fights in Germany against Artur Abraham and Sebastian Sylvester, going the distance in both fights.
