IBF middleweight champion Gennadiy Golovkin is not really paying attention to recent taunts from division contender, Chris Eubank Jr.

Eubank is back on Saturday night in Cardiff, when he faces hometown fighter Liam Williams in a grudge match.

However, the main target on his list is Golovkin.

Eubank and Golovkin were scheduled to fight in 2016. But, they were unable to reach a deal on all of the terms, which led to Eubank being replaced by Kell Brook, who Golovkin stopped in five rounds.

The British fighter feels confident in his ability to topple the dangerous puncher.

"I have the perfect style to stop Golovkin even though it's never been done before," Eubank said.

Golovkin was all set to unify with WBA champion Ryota Murata back in December. The fight was postponed when Japan increased their COVID-19 restrictions.

The once-beaten is not concerned with anything Eubank has to say about him.

"I have stopped paying attention to people calling me out. It's the same thing. People claim things, they say that they have certain arrangements. It just looks cheap. It's not worth my attention at all," Golovkin said.

Golovkin does have interest in taking part in another fight on UK soil - and Eubank would certainly be viewed as a natural option for such a scenario.

"I remember coming to the UK. I liked that night, I enjoyed it. It was an entertaining fight. I would not limit myself to any individual country," Golovkin said.

"It depends on many factors. I'm sure the conditions offered for a fight in the United States or in my home country of Kazakhstan would not be any worse than those offered in the UK. So let's be realistic."
