On the night of December 17th at the Forum in Inglewood, California an HBO triple-header takes place that is headlined by the farewell fight of Bernard Hopkins who takes on Joe Smith.

Featherweight contender Joseph Diaz faces Horacio Garcia and last week it was announced that WBO cruiserweight titlist, Oleksandr Usky would open up the broadcast against Thabiso Mchunu.

As for the undercard, Golden Boy Promotions will be filling it out with their deep roster of prospects.

According to their head matchmaker, Robert Diaz - "The non-televised prospects you'll get on December 17th: (Christian) 'Chimpa' Gonzalez back in the ring, Ivan Delgado, who's from out there in South Central, you're going to get Joet Gonzalez, you're going to get Jason Quigley, Yamaguchi Falcao and Ryan Garcia will be making his debut with Golden Boy."

December is a busy month for Golden Boy which has cards on the 2nd, 16th and 17th.
