This much is clear, on December 19th from the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, New York, a heavyweight bout between Luis Ortiz and Bryant Jennings will take place as the featured bout on HBO's 'Boxing After Dark'. A fight between Nicholas Walters and Jason Sosa is also being talked about for that telecast.

According to Eric Gomez, V.P. of Golden Boy Promotions, two other bouts will be added to that same card, a junior middleweight clash between Gabe Rosado (21-9, 13KOs) and Joshua Clottey (39-4, 22KOs) and a light heavyweight battle between Vyacheslav Shabranskyy (16-1, 12KOs) and Yuniesky Gonzalez (16-1, 12KOs).

"So what we're trying to do is get [Rosado-Clottey, Shabranskyy-Gonzalez] televised on HBO Latino," explained Gomez, from the House of Boxing gym in San Diego on Thursday afternoon, where it was the official media day for Saul Alvarez, who faces Miguel Cotto on November 21st.

"I'm pitching it to do on the same card. HBO's done it before, they'll do an undercard with HBO Latino and a 'Boxing After Dark'.

As it relates to Rosado-Clottey, Gomez stated - ''I've got confirmations from both fighters, it's going to contract now."

Rosado was originally slated to face the mercurial James Kirkland on this date.

There is also talk that HBO would make their 'Boxing After Dark' broadcast a tripleheader on this day by purchasing the U.S rights to the bout between WBO middleweight champion Andy Lee and Billy Joe Saunders, or the network might showcase a fight involving Yuriorkis Gamboa.
