28-year-old Ukrainian heavyweight Vyacheslav Glazkov is currently in Austria, where he is serving as a sparring partner to WBA/IBF/IBO/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, who defends his titles on October 5th in Moscow, Russia against "regular" WBA champion Alexander Povetkin. Meanwhile, November 16 is the most important fight in his career of Glazkov, who faces former two division world champion Tomasz Adamek. The winner of that fight will be guaranteed a second place ranking under the IBF. The ranking position is currently vacant.

"Of course I am happy about the fight with Adamek. It's time to box with the top fighters of my division. Adamek is a skilled, tenacious fighter, and for me it is going to be a good test and a great experience. And, based on our sparring sessions, I can say that this fight will not be boring. Adamek likes to exchange punches," Glazkov said.

"I feel great, the sparring sessions with Wladimir are great, and I've gained more confidence because I'm getting good work with the strongest heavyweight in the world. I believe this work will benefit both myself and Klitschko. Here in Austria are the perfect conditions for training..........clean mountain air and quiet, nothing to distract you from the work. In general this is great, physically, for the upcoming fight with Adamek."
