BoxingScene.com caught up with 108 pound Ring Magazine champion Giovani "The Aztec Warrior" Segura after his third round knockout of former two division champion Ivan Calderon.  Segura admitted his punches were borderline to being low blows but felt that Calderon wasn't going to be able to withstand the body attack regardless and that the knockout was coming.

"I knew as soon as I started landing body shots that Calderon would not last. He started complaining they were low but they were borderline," Segura told BoxingScene.com.

On Sunday, BoxingScene.com ran a story in which WBA light flyweight champion Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez called out Segura. Chocolatito said that he wanted a unification match with Segura before the Mexican moves up to 112 pounds. Segura struggled to make weight for both Calderon fights and has no plans to fight at 108 again, especially for a fighter he feels brings nothing to the table.

The Aztec Warrior responded by saying, "I hear Chocolatito is calling me out but who is he? He brings nothing to the table. Tell him to unify at 108 pounds like I did and then come up in weight and we can fight."

Segura said that he found it amusing that Gonzalez would call him out for a fight at 108 pounds when Segura had already stated that the Calderon rematch would be his final fight at 108.  Segura said that he doesn't duck anyone and when Gonzalez is ready to fight at 112 that he would have no problem fighting him.

"Its kind of funny that Roman calls me out when he knows I can't make 108. When he is ready and does something of note I'll be ready.  I never duck or dodge anyone.  My resume says it all,"  said Segura.
