While awaiting a big fight this fall, flyweight contender Giovani Segura returns to action next week.

Segura is scheduled to fight on July 25 at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, Emily Pandelakis notified BoxingScene.com early Friday afternoon. Pandelakis is the publicist for Iron Boy Promotions, which is promoting the card.

No opponent has been announced yet for Segura.

Segura (32-4-1, 28 KOs) has not fought since September 6, when he was stopped in the 11th round by Juan Francisco Estrada in Mexico City. He had three fights in a row.

The Bell, Calif. resident has been awaiting another big fight against any of the top flyweights in boxing.

Originally from Michoacan, Mexico, the 33-year-old Segura trains at the famed Azteca Gym in the Los Angeles area.
