Middleweight contender Gennady Martirosyan (22-2, 11KOs) is not expecting to win a decision in Krasnodar, Russia. On Sunday he challenges undefeated WBO champion Dmitry Pirog (18-0, 14KOs). Although both of the boxers are from Russian, Martirosyan feels the crowd, and the local officials will side with the hometown champion.

To avoid a possible mishap with the judges, Martirosyan plans to press forward with well timed attacks on the champion. The challenger will be focused on winning by knockout.

"I don't care where I have to box. It doesn't bother me. I wanted this fight. I am not going to box him for twelve rounds. It's unlikely that I'm capable of winning a decision here. I know that I can only win by knockout," Martirosayn told Alexander Pavlov.
