Sands Casino Resort, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania - Junior middleweight contender Gabriel Rosado (20-5, 12KOs) secured a stunning knockout of veteran Sechew Powell (26-5, 15KOs) in the ninth round to capture the WBO's Inter-Continental title.

The fight was even for the first six rounds, but Rosado began to take over in the seventh. He rocked Powell in the eight. He couldn't put him away and Powell started coming back near the end. During the ninth, Rosado hurt Powell again and put him down. Powell tried to escape and move, but this time Rosado pinned him against the ropes and unleashed a huge flurry of big shots to send Powell down and out.

Ronald Cruz (17-0, 12KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Prenice Brewer (16-2-1, 6KOs) to capture the vacant WBC Continental Americas welterweight title. All three judges saw it 118-110. Cruz won the majority of the rounds, but Brewer tried to rally in the final three rounds of the fight.

Light heavyweight prospect Sergey Kovalev (18-0-1, 15 KOs) stopped rugged journeyman Darnell Boone (19-19-3, 8 KOs) in two rounds. They previously fought in October 2010, where Kovalev won a razor thin eight round split decsion.
