The bad blood between super middleweights Carl Froch and George Groves is far from over. After two tension filled encounters, a third fight could be brewing for 2015.

Groves (19-2, 15KOs) came close to beating Froch (33-2, 24KOs) last November and found himself on the losing end of a controversial ninth round stoppage. Their May rematch drew a record crowd of 80,000 fans to Wembley Stadium. Froch once again prevailed, stopping Groves with a devastating knockout in the eight.

Speaking with the Nottingham Post, Froch made it clear that he was the actual drawing card for the huge crowd at Wembley. He says Groves is struggling to sell tickets to his September 20th fight with Christopher Rebrasse at the 12,500 seat Wembley Arena. For his next fight, Froch is looking to pack 30,000 fans into City Ground - and says he doesn't need a third fight with Groves to do it.

"Without blowing my own trumpet, people would come to see me. George Groves proves that. He's struggling to sell a couple of thousand tickets for his next fight at Wembley Arena, never mind 80,000 at Wembley Stadium," Froch said.

Froch's promoter, Eddie Hearn, says mandatory challenger James DeGale is the favorite to land the fight with Froch.

"James is obviously Carl’s mandatory challenger for the IBF super middleweight belt and under those terms Carl has to fight him by the end of February or give up the belt. Carl is not the sort of fighter who just gives up a belt so I think that fight is now very likely," Hearn said. "DeGale is the strong favorite at the moment. He is young, hungry and talented."
