Nordoff Robbins have again teamed up with the London Ex Boxers Association for another exciting evening of amateur boxing. And for the first time this year the Nordoff Robbins Boxing Icon Award will be given to celebrate outstanding contributions to boxing with Frank Warren being the first recipient.

Boxing promoter Frank Warren was inducted to the International Boxing Hall Of Fame in 2008 and has been Europe’s leading boxing promoter for the last 30 years.  He has been responsible for launching and managing the careers of some of the UK’s finest boxers including Prince Naseem Hamed, Nigel Benn, Joe Calzaghe, Ricky Hatton, Amir Khan and currently Olympic gold medallist James DeGale.

This boxing dinner showcases Britain’s future talent and potential fighters for the 2012 Olympics and is the second in a series of Internationals, last year was England Vs the “Auld Enemy” Scotland and this year is the much anticipated England Vs Ireland, the first time these two nations have met in 20 years.

Attending the event will be celebrities from the world of music and film who will join past and present boxing champions and British Olympic medal winner’s to raise money for Nordoff Robbins.

This exclusive event will be held Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London W1K 6JP on Monday November 22nd.
