Francis Lafreniere (12-5-2) successfully defended his IBF International middleweight crown by stopping Hungarian contender Attila Koros (9-5-1) by TKO at 41 seconds of the third round.

Attila Koros was dropped twice in the second round. The duel took place on Friday, June 17th at a gala presented at the Tohu in Montreal by Rixa Promotions and Grant Brothers Boxing.

After eight rounds, lightweight contender Roody Pierre-Paul (12-3-1), a former WBC Continental Americas champion, had to settle for a majority draw decision with Mexican fighter Oscar Barajas (12-3-1 ). Two judges were surrendering a 76-76 scorecard and the third judge handed down a 78-74 card for Barajas.

The super-middleweight prospect Erik Bazinyan (13-0-0) won in the second round against Hungarian Zoltan Sera (24-10-0), a former WBF International champion. Bazinyan recorded a KO win in 2:02 after dropping Sera three times.

Earlier, Bruno Bredecian (4-0-0) of Florida began the duel in force against Mexican Hector Osornio (7-8-3), who suffered a cut above his left eye very soon in the first round. Osornio was finally put down to one knee in the third round. After four rounds of regulation, Bruno Bredecian recorded a unanimous decision victory with the judges.
