At the Allianz Cloud in Milan, Lombardia, Italy, EBU lightweight champion Francesco Patera (23-3, 8 KOs) retained his title with a twelve round unanimous decision over previously undefeated challenger Domenico Valentino (8-1). Patera scored a knockdown in the twelfth and final round.

The action was very close. Valentino, who was a highly regarded amateur, frustrated Patera throughout the contest and made him miss often. Patera was made to work extra hard for every connect.

The judges however, saw it wide for Patera - with scores of 117-110, 117-111, 117-111.

This victory marks the third win of the year for Patera, who captured the title back in October with a career defining twelve round decision over tough as nails Lewis Ritson of the UK.

Patera has won five in a row since losing a decision to Edis Tatli in December 2017.

Maxim Prodan (18-0-1, 14 KOs) pulled out a ten round split decision win over Tony Dixon (12-3). The scores were 97-93 and 98-92 for Prodan, and 96-94 for Dixon.

In an IBF International super middleweight contest, Daniele Scardina boxed his way to a ten round unanimous decision over Ilias Achergui (13-5). The scores were 97-92, 98-91, and 98-91.

Also picking up wins on the card, Ivan Zucco, Joshua Nmomah, Samuel Nmomah, Nicholas Esposito, Alen Babic.
