Sam Maxwell and Alex Dickinson are among those who have been added to the undercard of Carl Frampton’s next fight.

The Liverpool-based duo, who return on March 16 at Greenbank Sports Academy, as part of an MTK Liverpool card, will then face quick turnarounds after being handed spots on the same card as Frampton’s bill-topping showdown with Nonito Donaire at the SSE Arena in Belfast.

The Frampton vs. Donaire card, on April 21, will be screened exclusively live on BoxNation and BT Sport in the UK and the Commonwealth Games medallist Maxwell, along with former ABA champion Dickinson –– who has fought twice already in the Northern Irish capital since turning professional last June –– will be in stellar company on the bill.

Dubliner Jono Carroll will travel to meet Belfast’s Marco McCullough in a 12-round super-featherweight showdown as he defends the IBF European title, while Tyrone McKenna and super-lightweight rival Philip Sutcliffe Jr. are set to clash in another long-awaited Belfast vs. Dublin bout.

An exciting All-Ireland middleweight fight will also take place as WBO European champion Conrad Cummings and Irish champion Luke Keeler square off.

Lewis Crocker, Tyrone McCullagh, Davey Oliver Joyce and Steven Ward have also been added to the bill along with Troy Williamson.

“This is yet another example of MTK Global’s ambition to showcase some of our best young talent in boxing,” said Jamie Conlan, MTK Global’s professional development coordinator. “We’ve worked together with Frank Warren to bring Belfast fight fans a fantastic bill and it’s really shaping up to be a great night.

“Running through the list of names on the undercard, there’s some of the best prospects from Ireland and the UK on there.

"Frampton against Donaire is a good enough match-up to sell a show on its own, but we’re delighted to take the opportunity to get some gifted young fighters on such a big bill and I’m sure that experience will stand to them," added Conlan.
