I have to admit I underrated Kabayel a bit, earlier in his career he wasn't as aggressive or as ferocious in his body attack. I knew he was strong and rugged but I thought Sanchez would give him more resistance.
Maybe Frank's bum knee affected his mobility and ability to sit down on punches,...

Kabayel looked solid but didn't impress when I first saw him against Chisora. I saw him again during the pandemic against the Greek heavyweight Lazaridis and he just slept walk to a UD win.
Lately he's been on a tear, destroying two feared HW prospects in the process. I don't remember...rudy likes this.

Should be a competitive fight. Massey has losses against Parker at HW and Riakporhe (a close fight) and Isaac has losses to CBS and Okolie. Not too many notable wins for either.
I think Massey edges it....

I find it entertaining that we are doing all of these mental exercises for 233 and then 223 and whatever Fury weighs. It may impact the fight but probably not. Either they are conditioned to go 12 or they are not....Damn Wicked likes this.

I agree. I think Agit will have to make Sanchez uncomfortable if he is to have success. I've only seen Kabayel fight 4 or so times...while I think he's skilled I haven't always seen him consistently apply pressure. I would think a sustained body attack like he applied to Makhmudov would be imperative...

Ah jeez, it was a while ago and for my birthday, probably a few hundred or so. My wife and I made a weekend out of it. We left before the final bell and the following day drove 8 hours (for a 3 hour drive) on the way back through a freak snow storm....MusoMeanderings likes this.

This is an interesting fight. Agit had a less than impressive win against DelBoy and a very impressive stoppage of Makhmudov. Does that win tell us more about Makhmudov being underrated or Kabayel being more dangerous than thought?
Frank has skills but he's coasted in many fights where...

It was a close fight. The knockdown was a big moment but Serrano was outworked in other rounds and I'm sure both women (rightfully) feel they won.
Regardless, it was an entertaining fight that lived up to the hype and it was held on a big stage in front of many eyes. Both did the women's...Beercules likes this.

Sounds like it all has to do with the WBA's 12lb rehydration policy, which many weren't aware of apparently.
Probably posturing by the fighter's camp to see if they can leverage something....

Shudder to think about that combination. I went to Rigo/Agbeko. Probably one of the most painful fights to watch that I've ever paid for....pnut901 MusoMeanderings like this.

Blair is limited but he tries. AB's typical effort is to stick his shoulder out, block as many shot as he can and then motion to his opponent to bring it on. Maybe throw an ineffective combination.
Blair by MD (because there's always one judge) if this fight happens....pnut901 likes this.

I see.it.in similar fashion. It's a big challenge for Usyk because of the size and skills that Fury brings but I think his use of angles and distance will give him the decision m...

It was a pretty big gaffe but not the first time I've seen it happen. No permanent or long term damage happened. Sure Hughes and Johnson went thru roller coasters of emotions but the correct result was ultimately applied. I've seen far worse instances of incompetence in boxing that have had serious...

Incredibly sad. Thoughts and prayers to Sherif and his loved ones. It's a violent and unforgiving sport: A stark reminder to those who are quick to question a fighter's resolve or fortitude in the ring....pnut901 likes this.
