  • Sam Soliman: Ready For Enrique Ornelas

Sam Soliman (WBA Number 3) is currently training the house down in preparation for his upcoming Middleweight fight with Enrique Ornelas. This fight will be held at the Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, California, this coming weekend, November 17, 2006, and there's many reasons why boxing purists shouldn’t miss this fight. [details]

    Good stuff.

Soliman is a great guy, and one tough fighter.

Some of that good sparring at the WildCard Gym they speak of has been with Vanes Martirosyan.

They really go at it and the whole gym stops to watch. Great sparring for both guys. Soliman fights this Friday, Vanes fights this Saturday on Pac vs Morales undercard.

You're right about that sparring, and yes Sam is 1 tough guy.

Thanks for the feedback, it's always good to see someone appreciate the late nights spent toiling over the keyboards.

        Sam Will Win

As a friend of Sam and his wife, Maria, I cannot express his determination to defeat Ornelas. After losing on technicality to Winky Wright, he is more focused than ever.
Ornelas has a formidable record, as does Soliman. If you're able to, watch the game. Ironically, he's our best boxer (that's right, I don't count Mundine as the best - your in the ring to fight with ya fists, not slag people off ) and does not get televised on either the free to air or pay tv here in Australia. Sucks big time.

        Go SAMMM!!!
