  • Comments Thread For: Tim Tszyu vs. Dennis Hogan in Talks For Showdown

There are ongoing discussions for a potential 2021 clash between junior middleweights Tim Tszyu and Dennis Hogan. Tszyu, a rising star in Australia, was hoping to get a crack at the WBO junior middleweight champion Patrick Teixeira. But, those plans went up in smoke when Teixeira was granted a visa to the United States to make a mandatory defense next month against Brian Castano.

Tim about to really put it on this dude. Hogan is a good fighter but bad match up for him.

Tim should do better than Munguia for sure and if he does better than Charlo and stops him within 5 or 6 it'll be hell of a statement

Should be easy work for Munguia. But you never know until they get through the ropes.

Tszu isn't getting anybody to go to Australia either. He should put on his travelinging shoes and take on these light weights on the road. Do some traveling, see the world.

Hogan is no joke. Very tough.
For people who comment here but are ignorant of weight devisions...

Against Charlo Hogan went up from 154 to 160 and was outgunned, predictably.

Against Tszyu he will be back down to his best 154 weight and was a massive problem for Munguia.

Hogan is durable and moves well but doesn't carry much pop and at 35 is probably past his prime. Tszyu should beat him on points or stop him late.
