He can. But the book is out on him already. If you can survive his assault early in the fight, he falls apart later on. That, and the fact that he has a very shaky chin. Still like him, but I don't know if he can ever become a world champion. Both his losses have been to lesser fighters and by KO. Would still love to see him go at with the top guys just to see how he fares against them. He has the skills but he just comes off as too fragile. Still gotta root for my PR guys though.

I like Verdejo, but talent alone can only get a boxer so far. Twice he has faded badly and shown that he lacks the conditioning to handle a taller, pressure come forward type fighter. He also has not shown one of the most important things a champion must possess. And that is heart, the will to overcome adversity, the will to win. You can't teach that. Sorry.

Bounce back? He never went anywhere. He was beating hair dressers and cab drivers. No disrespect for cab drivers. It's just that they spent too much time on him when guys like Pedraza and Sosa came and went, others too. Worn out from bearing PR pride while he got the lime light.

When Marquez was with Memo he offered to take any drug tests that Pacquiao wanted, as long as Pacquiao took them too.

We never heard anything back from Pacquiao after that.

Linares and Klitscho did it. But the odds aren't in his favor

Marquez was the one who looked physically different. But I don't think that was the difference in the fight. Its more due to Pacquiaos lunging in with his hands down and carelessness.
