  • Comments Thread For: Edgar Berlanga Wants Gabe Rosado Now, David Benavidez (Much) Later

Knockout specialist Edgar Berlanga is making mince meat of the opponents that have thus far been put in front of him, but he has a potentially more sturdy option for his harried matchmakers to consider: Fellow Puerto Rican and 168-pounder Gabe Rosado.

Berlanga should take it slowly and surely before getting in the ring with other.champs. he need rounds to polish his skills...

Would've preferred Jacobs, but Rosado works for me just as well, especially considering the PR Parade Weekend! Now let's hope there is a PR Parade, and MSG has fans in attendance!

Your talking rubbish i love this he called out a Gabe who is not a world champion so what is the problem. This is a good test for him and intriguing bit like Garcia vs Campbell. Too much people like to see fighter spoon fed then when they ask for lots of money you wonder why

Rosado is a good choice of opponent. Very durable and always comes to fight. Would be a good test.

I haven't seen too much of Belanga, but that 100% KO ratio means he's gotten his experience so far through spars. He's not ready for someone like Rosado. He will be "old manned".

Call me crazy, but I'm not 100% sure this dude beats Gabe. Gabe has a granite chin and his boxing skills has really improved over the years. Just haven't seen enough in terms of rounds with Berlanga to say I'm confident he'd win

"Y’all are so impatient.” Maybe because you keep talking about your KO streak and calling yourself a monster. Throw in the fact that you admitted to not doing what your trainers told you to do and getting publicly reprimanded for it.

It really is but after Gabes performance against Jacob's I'd be a little hesitant on that big of step up in class. Gabe actually looked like a very polished boxer, dont remember him ever boxing that well. Could've it been attributed to Danny started to slide a little bit, lackluster camp?? Who knows but Gabe looked damn good.
