The unbeaten lightweight from San Mateo Atenco, Mexico remained perfect in the pro ranks following a 5th round stoppage of countryman Roberto Ramirez. The bout served as the televised opener of NBC Sports Network's Ring City series which debuted Thursday evening from Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood.

This was a pretty good card overall. It was nice seeing these fights happening near my hometown. Kudos to Roach for having this event at his place.
