True to its word, Queensberry Poland has hit the ground running in scooping up blue chip prospects. The newly formed promotional companyheaded by Mariusz Krawczynski and Francis Warren-has signed a pair of Russian amateur stars in Andrey Kovalchuk and Alisa Sharifov to promotional pacts. Both will make their respective pro debuts under the QP Poland banner later this fall.
Kovalchuk and Sharifov will also fight under the guidance of co-managers Max Alperovich and Eduard Kravtsov of Premier Management Group. Given the rich amateur pedigree boasted by both boxers, the plan is to not waste any time in advancing to the sport's highest stage.
