Rene Alvarado is one tough nut to crack, if you want to beat this fighter you have to bring it. I've seen a few of his fights, and he doesn't back off of his opponent. He's always surging forward, and has only been stopped once by a cut in 40 fights. He has such a grueling style that I don't see him retaining the title for long. His chin might hold up, but his face won't he's been cut to many times in his career, and it will ultimately cost him his title. He's an exciting fighter to watch because of his aggressive style, but it's cost him 8 losses due to it. The 9th loss is a punch producing cut away, maybe in his first defense or the next.
