Yes, I can never forget how Teddy continued to stall Povetkin from fighting Wladimir Klitschko. He would always say, "We're not quite ready for that fight just yet. One more fight and we'll have Povetkin polished and ready for Wladimir, and we will definitely win that fight." Jeez, how many years did Teddy's, "Just one more tuneup fight before we take the Wladimir fight" continue?? ....And then Povetkin finally fought Wladimir after Teddy eventually left Povetkin. It's almost as though Teddy was doing everything to stop Povetkin from fighting Klitschko.

Teddy just wanted Povetkin to be fully prepared and have a shot at actually beating Klitschko. Instead of just taking the money and losing.

Not close but Atlas taught Povetkin tricks to pick his shots and set them up that he didn’t have in his early career .

Mikes uppercut took the soul out of you ,POV uses a shovel hook but like I said Mike Tyson would knock Whyte out today for the same reasons except he wouldn’t be getting out boxed like Povetkin or going down.

It was a fight Povetkin had almost no chance in so Teddy was probably hoping that at some point the belts would fracture.

That fight with Klutchko was an absolute disgrace. The amount of holding and clinching that Klit was continually doing without any penalty was an embarrassment.
