John Bauza's boxing ability was too much for Larry Fryers on Tuesday night in Las Vegas. The unbeaten southpaw from North Bergen, New Jersey, spent much of their eight-round junior welterweight fight picking apart an aggressive Fryers with straight left hands. Fryers tried to be physical with Bauza, but Bauza effectively established distance and easily out-pointed Fryers on the scorecards of judges Adalaide Byrd (80-72), Patricia Morse Jarman (79-73) and Dave Moretti (80-72).
