  • Comments Thread For: Miguel Berchelt Not Concerned With Big Drop in Pay To Fight Again

WBC super featherweight champion Miguel "Alacrn" Berchelt was not concerned with money when he was presented with the opportunity to fight again. In his first bout since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, Berchelt will return to the ring on Saturday night, in a stay-busy fight taking place at the TV Azteca studios, behind closed doors.

Doubt his contract has a high guarantee in the first place.

Well he's guaranteed at least 600k a fight and he's making 75k for this fight. So yeah, it's a big drop, at least he's not like these other diva's like Crawford who can't draw flies to sh** but want the stars and the moon.

He’s fighting a bum. This is easy money. He’s not fighting guys like he fights for 600-700k. This is a tune up and he doesn’t have to make weight. He should turn around and do it again in September.

Berchelt avoided a unification with Herring. He doesnt give a **** about being great. Top Rank wouldnt have signed Crawford to that contract if they hadnt seen value there. Unless you think you know more about money and the boxing market than them.

Berch was Lomas mandatory at 130. He's getting paid about right for this fight, but he's challenging for some paper, stat greatness. A reign less of terror, more about management.

Berchelt didn't avoid Herring he is going to fight Valdez for more money in a more fan friendly fight I don't think Herring has anything that would cause problems for Berchelt he is a decent boxer but not a huge puncher.

Berchelt will give Herring a Boxing lesson and a beating. Herring was given a gift decision against Ito. Herring is a paper champion.

I dont care what you think Berchelt will do. He had the opportunity to do it and chose not to unify. Weak ****.

Bull**** man. Both Herring and Berchelt fought in may 2019. He was hoping Ito won so he could have an easy unification. When herring won he started making excuses. He went on to fight Sosa in Nov 2019 who is a non threat. While all this was happening Valdez was still a division lower.
