Alexey Egorov could be contending for a world title belt sooner than later. The unbeaten cruiserweight will face Vasil Ducar in a 10-round bout Thursday night at the Pyramide in Kazan, Russia. Egorov (10-0, 7 knockouts), who resides in Obinsk, Russia, last fought on December 7, dropping Serhiy Radchenko once en route to a unanimous decision victory. Egorov notched an impressive victory on March 23, defeating South Africa's Thomas Oosthuizen by unanimous decision.
