I hope the plan that led up to this fight gets scrapped for anything similar in future matchups. The idea of setting an anticipated fight (big fight) in stone but after each fighter has a tuneup or two beforehand is not only absurd it's dangerous to the fighter. Look what happened to Fury. Almost lost and recieved a nasty gash around his eye. All because his mind was not 100% on that fight. I know enough to be sure a fighter needs as much mental consentration as physical traits being in shape. Especially in the heavyweight division. That grand plan by Arum and top rank almost derailed the whole rematch. Enough money is enough money. To get greedy like that is stupid. TR can pretend all they want with their welterweight champions. Building bogus contenders for the missmatch king spence or pattycake with crawford. All it does is hurt their chances of beating a real opponent. And kills all hope for fans who want to see the best vs the best. So stop toying with setting up anything but a deserving and true matchup. There isn't a shortage of good matchups so find them and stop being greedy!
