  • Comments Thread For: Feigenbutz: Caleb Plant Is Strongest World Champion At 168

This Saturday night in Nashville Vincent Feigenbutz (31-2, 28 KOs) will aim to upset hometown hero and IBF Super Middleweight champion Caleb Plant (19-0, 11 KOs) when he faces the American in the champion's second defence of his title. A win for the German would match an accomplishment made by historic heavyweight Max Schmeling and would give Feigenbutz the honour of being world champion at the second attempt. All of that was discussed and more when Boxing Scene caught up with the 24-year-old heavy hitter.

Left this in a separate thread. Belongs here.

I watched a few Feigenbutz fights. He lifts weights and it shows. Looks strong but the speed and cardio have gone out the window. Can see Plant out boxing him through the early rounds and then blasting him when the German starts gassing just a little bit in the 4th or 5th. Can never tell when one of these underdogs will try to seize the moment though. If the German brings it then he lasts a few rounds longer. Either way he’s getting stopped.

This is very good weight division ! Nobody stands out for me ! All of the title holders are very capable of beating each other Smith v Benivedez and Plant v Saunders and the winners of those fights fight each other for undisputed and the Ring magazine belt.
