  • Comments Thread For: Arum, Haymon To Make More Fights in 2020 After Wilder-Fury

Bob Arum has called Al Haymon a cancer to the sport of boxing in the past, and even said he encourages PBC fighters like Errol Spence Jr. not to work with white promoters. That was then, and with the Feb. 22 rematch between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury being the "now," Arum has changed his position about the longtime rival Haymon.

Some fights between the two promotions/networks that would be fun to see:

Crawford vs any of PBC top WWs
        Stevenson vs GRJ
Lomachenko vs Lopez winner vs Tank
        Inoue vs Nery
        Kownacki vs Pulev

There's some fun match ups, but honestly that NOT as many as I expected. Seems like they control different divisions and more fun match ups b/w either company and DAZN.

Hopefully for the health of the sport those biggest fights can be made on either ESPN or FOX....on dazn, there just isn’t any exposure

Bob is a great salesman. He doesn't even have to like the guy he is doing business with but if it's going to make him him some money he'll compromise his principles every time just in order to make a deal. These guys will do just about anything for a fast buck. After all, you can't love money and have a conscience at the same time.

Let's keep it at this and we'll all be happy. Well except for the fans of promoters but who cares about them anyway. Just make the fights and offer guys what they're worth. That goes for all promoters!!!!!
