  • Comments Thread For: Wallin on Fury's Cut: If Anyone Else - They Probably Stop The Fight

Heavyweight contender Otto Wallin believes Tyson Fury received every benefit, because of his star power, to continue fighting for the entire twelve rounds on Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. In the third round of their contest, Fury suffered a severe cut above his right eye. The eye grew worse as the contest continued, with Fury being unable to see for the majority of the contest. He even suffered a second cut, although not as bad, on his eyelid.

Tyson Fury should of been KO twice now in his last three fights. Jack Reiss should of waved the fight off in the 12th vs. Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder ( as most commentators have agreed ) and Tony Weeks also should of stopped the fight with Otto Wallin.

Tony Weeks should be suspended, he allowed Badou Jack to fight with a gross and career ending gash against 'Sir' Marcus Browne, and now Otto possibly killed the career of Tyson Fury, busting the Gypsy-Bum wide open and beating him senseless in the final round, under the supervision of Weeks.

But then again, maybe I'm being too hard on Tony Weeks, Tyson after-all wanted a Mexican style showdown with Otto Wallin, Weeks is the right guy for these kinds of fights, however, Tyson is the wrong type for these wars.

Fury has no punch power whatsoever. He cant knock anyone out, not even a journeyman like Wallin. The Heavyweight scene is dreadful at the moment. AJ was knocked out senseless by a walking human sausage. The only guy that's proving himself to be great is Wilder

Vitali Klitschko needed a ring doctor like this one when he fought Lennox Lewis. You couldn't tell if Fury was winking or blinking.

Despite the cut Fury won most all the rounds. So no, the fight should t have been waved off, because clearly Fury was able to be effective despite the cut.

Yeah, Wallin has to stand up for himself, he was robbed of a stoppage victory.

Fury was robbed of a DQ victory as Wallin the btch should've been DQ'D for trying to intentionally guage the Wound after the ref broke them up.

Yeah that was the first thing I said when that happened. I couldn't believe it when he did that. But he should've at least taken a point away, that was B.S. Stupid because all it did was piss Fury off and probably made him fight harder.

I was with you until you said journeyman, Wallin was unbeaten coming in, granted against a bunch of journeymen, but I don't think he fits the definition. Maybe you meant bum?
