  • Comments Thread For: Letters from Team Rivas Lawyers Might Foretell Lawsuit

Boxing Scene has learned that Groupe Yvon Michel has retained UK counsel on behalf of Oscar Rivas and itself to explore the possibility of a lawsuit against Matchroom Boxing, Dillian Whyte, United Kingdom Anti-Doping (UKAD), and the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBC). Matchroom Boxing is Eddie Hearn's promotional company that promoted Whyte's July 20 fight against Rivas in London.

Sue their arses off. This is real corruption not where Joshua did not get extra time to recover against Ruiz. UKAD and the BBB of C should be ashamed of themselves. As usual the british posters on this site will deflect and somehow mention Deontay Wilder. Jealous barstards! BOMBSQUAAAAAAAAAAAD!

Lol Dillian Whyte the 2x cheater has gone quiet since he failed another test.

        Povetkin
        Wawrzyk

The size of eddie’s balls to shout “600 days! 600 days!” when he knew Whyte was now a 2 time cheat. In 600 days Whyte will weigh 600 lbs

He is right to pursue, this is a dangerous sport and Whyte should have never been able to fight when it was known he failed a test.

Rivas should ask for discovery of Whyte test samples and subpoena whoever held the hearing that “cleared” Whyte.
