For the second straight fight, David Oliver Joyce was forced to go deeper than at any other point in his young pro career. This time around, the unbeaten Irish prospect had to make the most of an awkward matchup, pitching a shutout over a reluctant Breilor Teran in their 10-round featherweight bout Saturday evening at Barys Arena in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. Scores of 100-89, 100-87 and 100-86 were in favor of Joyce, who has now gone six or more rounds in each of his last five contests.
