Sunny Edwards returned from injury with a routine win. The 23-year-old Croydon talent retained his WBO European title at the SSE Arena in Wembley, London. Edwards, who capped off 2018 with two great wins against Junior Granados and Ryan Farrag, took on Portugal's Pedro Matos, exclusively live on BT Sport, as part of the supporting cast to Daniel Dubois' heavyweight clash against Richard Lartey.
